
CHANTAL COMEAU B.Sc., CAT(C) , KIN
Certified
Athletic Therapist & kinesiologist, Chantal graduated
from Concordia University in 2000 and became recognized by the CATA (Canadian Athletic Therapists Association) with
her national certification in 2002. She completed many ongoing courses; myofascial release, Pilates instructor course, Functional Movement Screen, golf biomechanics, Neuro-proprioceptive
taping. She treats her patients by combining all these complimentary disciplines and therapeutic modalities as
well as giving rehabilitative exercises.
Also certified as a Sport First Responder Instructor by
the Red Cross & CPR-AED instructor by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec, Chantal is one
of the national team therapists for Judo Quebec and Canada. She has experience not only with judo, but also with weightlifting,
volleyball, soccer, football, basketball and rugby.
Chantal teaches part-time at Concordia University in the
Exercise Science department and is part of the Sport Medicine Council of Québec. She is the Medical coordinator
for the Québec Games and works closely with Sports-Québec.
Games
Experience: Many Judo World Championships, Canada Games, many judo PanAm championships and World cups
since 1998, Québec Games (summer & winter), semi pro soccer team Dynamites CPLS 2001 as well as many soccer, hockey, basketball, football & volleyball tournaments and leagues. She also worked
on the Rollerball movie set.

Diplômée comme Thérapeute du sport agréée et kinésiologue,
Chantal a gradué de l’Université Concordia en 2000 et obtenu sa certification nationale (ACTS) en 2002.
Elle a suivi plusieurs cours de perfectionnement tel que le relâchement myofascial, cours d’instructeure
de Pilates, Functional Movement Screen, la biomécanique du golf et le taping Neuro-proprioceptif. Lors des traitements,
Chantal combine ces disciplines complémentaires selon les besoins de chaque patient avec les modalités thérapeutiques
et des exercices de réhabilitation.
